Membership and Range Access

Become a Mountain Green Archery Club member today!  We welcome all new members.

If you have never done archery before, we suggest you go through a Beginners Course/Lessons prior to joining. If you have previous relevant archery experience, have done a Beginners Course at MGAC or another club, or are a member of another club, come along to a scheduled club day and have a chat.  Please understand that we will ask for details of your training, and may ask to check your archery skills in person with a brief test, before we approve your membership.

Join our club at our membership portal, TidyHQ, in which you can make a payment by credit card using Stripe or PayPal. Bank transfers are also accepted.

Membership Levels

Memberships run from 1 September to 30 August each year. Half year memberships are available from 1 March for new MGAC members only.

Senior Membership:  This is for members 18 years and over, and allows you full voting and shooting rights at the outdoor range.
Cost: $120 per year

Junior Membership:  This is for members under 18 years.  Junior Membership allows you full shooting rights at the outdoor range and voting rights if aged 16-17 years.
Cost: $60 per year

Associate Membership:  For archers who already belong to another archery club as a senior and wish to also use our club facilities including the outdoor range.  Associate members have no voting or committee rights, cannot hold a club key and cannot receive any club prizes.
Cost: $60 per year

Social Membership:  This is for non-shooting members who wish to support the club.  Social members are eligible to stand for general committee positions (but not executive positions), and have full voting rights.
Cost: $60 per year

We are trialling an online membership system, TidyHQ, where you can join our club entirely online including making a payment by credit card using Stripe.

As a backup _only_, you may complete a Mountain Green Archery Club membership form and submit it by email it to:

Kelly Atkinson, Membership Secretary
[email protected]

Postal submissions are no longer accepted.

We prefer for membership fees to be paid online using TidyHQ. This allows us to spend our time helping you get shooting, rather than on boring administration. If all else fails, our account is 02-0110-0091898-00. MAKE SURE to clearly state the archer's name and "subs" in the transfer details to avoid delays.

Indoor Range Access 2017-2018

Our indoor range can be found in the basement of the Massey (Waitakere) Badminton Centre, and is located at 149-155 Royal Road, Massey. Annual access is available for members of any recognised archery club, and for MGAC members at a discounted rate. Please note that we do not allow casual public archery, meaning that anyone wishing to access the indoor range must be a member of a recognised archery club.

Indoor Access for MGAC Members: The current fee is $60 for Juniors or Associates and $120 for Seniors.

Indoor Access for non-MGAC Members: The current fee is $100 for Juniors and $200 for Seniors.

Purchase indoor range access online at our TidyHQ shop. If you are a MGAC member, you must first log in to purchase access at the discounted rate.
